I’ve had quite a long and interesting Sunday already. My friend at work is taking a fashion class at the university during nights and one of her major projects is to style a photoshoot. I hooked her up with my friend who is a freelance photographer, and I went along to be of assistance. (Let me tell you, getting up at 6:30am on a Sunday morning is already indicative of the long day…) She had to get 6 “looks” with her theme (colour) and with the added pressure that we only had the model until 1pm, it was quite a time crunch. By the time we all arrived and was getting ready, it was already 8:30 or 9am… the first few shots took longer, but once we were down to very little time, we just zipped through them. Really fun, but tiring, experience. It’s amazing how subjective fashion is though. There were a few looks that I would never have thought to put together, but my friend who’s got an amazing sense of style paired ’em all up and it looked amazing!
I brought my own DSLR camera as well to snap some “behind the scenes” shots. I haven’t uploaded those yet, but this is one I took with my iPhone.
