196/365: 5-Question Friday

Wow, this week felt like it lasted forever… even tho it was quite busy!

Anyway, here’s this week’s 5-Question Friday! (brought to you by Friday5.org)

1. What is the longest distance you’ve traveled (in one trip) by foot?

It was probably when we were in NYC last year. I don’t know the exact distance, but we walked a LOT and a LONG way… from Battery Park, and up for quite a while before hopping on the subway for a few stops to get over to Central Park. And not just straight up the street, but zig-zagging around too.

Another instance I can think of was when the Toronto subway system was down (what else is new.) and I walked from my office mid-town all the way down Yonge Street till King, and then west for quite a while to get back to my home at the time.

2. What is the longest trip you’ve taken by car?

Longest trip via car was with a former boyfriend and his family. We drove from Toronto, off-and-on for 3 days to Florida… That was a reallllllly long ride down the I-95.

Coincidentally, my friend Jenn is headed on a road trip to come visit me/Toronto today!

3. What is the longest trip you’ve taken by plane?

I haven’t gone too many places by plane.. Los Angeles/Vancouver is probably the longest, both at about 4.5-5 hours

4. What is the longest trip you’ve taken on some kind of water craft?

Other than a little motorboat at the cottage, I’ve never really taken any kind of watercraft.

5. What is the longest trip you’ve taken aboard a bus or train?

Bus, was two trips in high school. The band & choir were headed to Boston one year, and Chicago another year, for a festival competition. Long ride (probably about 10 hrs each I think) but one of the most fun times of my high school years.
