This is it! In the home stretch now… 100 more days left of Daily Post‘s 2011 Post a Day Challenge!
And, appropriately, after having spent the last 265 days (well, and more, prior to 2011) on WordPress – I do quite enjoy it. When asked by friends in the past, I’m a WordPress fan. I like the interface on here and everything, but being more active in the book-blogging world for the last little while, I’ve noticed a LOT of people use Blogger/Blogspot. There are features on Blogger that I like.. the fact that Java and other additional coding is allowed, and Google Friend Connect (even tho WordPress has just put up a “Follow” button, it still requires people to enter emails – which is okay but it’s not as easy as just clicking Follow on GFC)
It’s tempting to switch, but I have all my history of past posts & comments on this site. It’d be like starting new IF I make the jump.
So, I want to hear your thoughts on one or the other – and why that’s your preference. Have you only used one of them, or you’ve tried both and prefer one more?
And as an additional note, I just realized that Peter James, the author I spoke of yesterday, has linked my blog on his own site! Feeling incredibly honoured…
