This week, I definitely got some fun goodies… some of them being books for my Paris month.. BUT I’ll hold off on sharing those till closer to April.. don’t want to give away everything that’s gonna be featured just yet. 😉 (Though, you have no idea how hard it is for me to NOT share these lovelies!!) Strangely enough, one book I wanted to buy for my Paris month, it was full price at $16 or so at Indigo.. and yet I went across the street to World’s Biggest Bookstore (which is of the same company), that same book & format was in the bargain section for $4.99. WEIRD.
And as a side note: I have been hunting for Delicacy by David Foenkinos with THIS COVER everywhere, but all I’ve found is the movie one. Book Depository’s thumbnail is this, but when clicking into the book to buy, it’s the movie one. If you guys stumble across it – in your fantastically internet-resourceful ways, please let me know! 🙂 Thank you!!
Small Town Sinners by Melissa Walker <– eBook purchased on Amazon for only $2.51!
Ten Things We Did (and Probably Shouldn’t Have) by Sarah Mlynowski <– eBook purchased on Amazon for only $1.12!
Graveminder by Melissa Marr <– Purchased at BMV for only $6.99
This is Not a Test by Courtney Summers <– eARC for read & review from Macmillan.
Of Poseidon by Anna Banks <– ARC for read & review from Raincoast Books.
419 by Will Ferguson <– ARC for read & review from Penguin Canada
And what’s a blogger get-together without some book shopping too? Granted this was all done while I was killing time in the afternoon and waiting to meet up with everyone for dinner (“killing time” in a bookstore is the WORST/best idea 😉 lol)
Ruined (Ruined, #1) by Paula Morris <– I’ve been eyeing this one for a while.. love a good ghost story!
Lips Touch: Three Times by Laini Taylor <– Came highly recommended by several other bloggers, quite pricey but looks good (and w/illustrations!)
Eyes Like Stars (Théâtre Illuminata, #1) by Lisa Mantchev <– To be honest, I didn’t really know what this book was about. Gorgeous cover that I saw on other blogs’ IMMs, but when I saw this on the Bargain table, I had to pick it up and see.. didn’t realize it was about theatre! I love theatre!
Lost Voices by Sarah Porter <– Recommended by Angel! I was totally attracted to the shiny cover, and – to be honest – didn’t really know much about mermaid stories (never having read one yet) but setting aside the mermaid factor, this book’s premise looked really good!
*phew*! And this is minus a bunch of stuff that I can’t/won’t share just yet! 😀 Though.. I really think I need to chill out on the book buying for a bit.. especially if I have to save up for my Paris trip’s spending money! lol.. 😳
