Another week gone by already… After last week’s shopping trip, I said I would hold off on the crazy book shopping for a bit to save up for Paris.. and that didn’t QUITE work out as well as I had hoped.
Granted, a lot of what I got this week wasn’t necessarily purchased…. just that I didn’t completely refrain from buying ANY books. Okay, I wrote that part before I actually went book shopping with Wendy, Nicole and Evie on Friday. BUT Chapters/Indigo was having their Buy 3, Get 4th Free deal, and the “Spend $50, get $10 off” receipt coupon, AND there’s a BMV used book store near by that I got some great goodies. So in all honesty, really didn’t spend that much at all!
Also, if you’ve missed it from this past week, I’ve got a fun Top 10 Tuesday where I picked out theme songs for a bunch of books, and I’ve got TWO giveaways going on right now on the blog so be sure to check ’em out!

Okay, you guys are all my witness: I NEED to refrain from buying books. Seriously. my “to-read” pile, I probably OWN a lot of the books and haven’t gotten to yet. I NEED to get through these!! LOL! So no more buying. .. I’ll try. Really hard. That being said…. here was my shopping haul….. 😳

Not book-related, but I’m also part of a program called BzzAgent, where the more you participate, you can earn higher rankings to get access to be part of better & better sponsored campaigns. My first campaign years ago was for Fruits & Passion, and got to try out some of their product! This week, my “Bzz Kit” arrived and it’s for Burt’s Bees and their new “Natural Skin Solutions for Sensitive Skin” (which I have!) Really excited to test it out. Got a full size facial cleanser w/cotton extract, a daily moisturizing cream + 10 samples to share with friends and other people I bzz about it to!
What did you guys get this week? Leave your link and I’ll be sure to check it out!
