Like I promised myself (and you, my beloved readers!), I have attempted – fairly successfully – to not purchase any books for a while to save up for my trip to Paris (and so I can whittle down this to-read pile!).. Granted it’s only been a week – but still!
And if you missed it this past week, I posted my Top 10 Fave Book Covers feat. Cityscapes, my glowing review of Pandemonium by Lauren Oliver, and addressed some recent news events about “bookworms ≠ depressed” and bullying injustice.
There’s also a few days left of my contest to win a copy of The Beggar’s Opera! Great mystery set in Havana.
Circle of Cranes by Annette LeBox <– ARC for read and review from Razorbill
I was also sent Baby’s in Black by Arne Bellstorf, a fantastic Beatles graphic novel from First Second. LOVE the Beatles.. really excited to read this!
(And the cutest little catalogue was sent with it.. if you can’t see what it says in the picture, it reads: First Second 2012 is: wrestling, noodles, robots, giant cats, etc. etc.) TOO awesome! 😀
See! Curbing my spending means a reasonably-sized IMM 😛 What did you guys get this week? Leave your link and I’ll be sure to check it out!
