In light of recent events (heh – it seems everyone is starting off their posts this way!), I am choosing to no longer participate in “In My Mailbox” going forward. I tried staying out of it as much as I could, and Parajunkee probably put it best. That being said, I discovered Tynga‘s new meme while looking for Parajunkee’s “two cents” post to link here. So voila!
If you missed it from this past week.. I reviewed Amy Thomas’ Paris, My Sweet & Eileen Goudge’s The Replacement Wife as well as (mini) interviewed author Amy Plum! Plus, if you haven’t entered my giveaway yet for a Razorbill tee-shirt, you’ve got a few more days!
This will be an epic first StS post too, as it’s my birthday weekend edition!

These lovely delicious gifts were from my good friends that I saw on Saturday night for birthday festivities! It seems that everyone thought to get me some yummy macarons this year… 😉 I don’t think I’ll be going through Paris withdrawal for a while! The little cake (with mini macarons on it!!) and the “inspirational & motivational” notebook & pen is from my BFF, Nina Fantasy fragrance is from my sister as part of my collection (I love all the apple Nina fragrance bottles). Apparently my friends thought “books” would be too obvious and everyone would get me that, so they all opted for macarons instead!
<3 you all!! Thank you so very much! I’m honestly touched by how well my friends know me.. these gifts were SO “me”!
What did you get this week? Leave your link and I’ll be sure to check it out too! 🙂
Thanks for stopping by!
