It’s a bit later in the morning that I’m posting this because I wanted to unveil my GORGEOUS NEW HEADER that Evie (Bookish) designed for me!!! Figured it’s about time to spruce up this page a bit and I definitely needed a banner.. what do you think?? She did such a great job capturing my “Lost” theme and to match the colours of my current blog layout! A few other buttons and graphics will be switched over too but I couldn’t wait to share this beautiful header! <3
Well, after a few weeks of crazy book hauls, I’ve had a relatively quieter one this week. Managed to finish quite a few books last weekend at the cottage but alas they aren’t coming out for a while so the reviews won’t be up till closer to that time. I have made a vow to myself though that I NEED to get reading through a good chunk of my review books before I buy/start any more new ones! (Yeah, we’ll see how long that lasts!)
One thing coming up that I’m excited for is the wrap-up to the first month of mine & Lost in a Great Book‘s summer TBR pile readalong! So look out for my review of Daughter of Smoke & Bone on Monday, and our collective wrap-up post (with link-up) on Tuesday!
Also – anyone watching the Olympics?? What’s your favourite event to watch? There’s also a lot of bookish Canadian pride going on for the summer games!
Y by Marjorie Celona <– ARC for read & review from publisher as part of blog tour.
The Diary of Darcy J. Rhone by Emily Giffin <– “Purchased” as a free book on Kobo! I didn’t even realize this existed, but I enjoy her books.. so interested to check this one out!
Ghost Stories of the Rocky Mountains by Barbara Smith <– Gift from Jen (@mountie9) after we both realized we collect ghost story books from places we visit, and that the one I bought while in Banff were FICTIONAL stories. She got me one of REAL ones. 🙂 Thank you Jen!!!
What did you get this week? Leave your link and I’ll be sure to check it out too! 🙂
Thanks for stopping by! 😎
