Giveaway: Stuck in a Good Book Blog Hop

Hosted by I Am A Reader, Not a Writer and Stuck in Books, this blog hop giveaway is a chance to share a book I couldn’t put down! What an exciting way to share one of my favourite reads so far this year… I’ve actually read quite a few in 2012 so far, so it was tough to narrow it down to one that I wanted to feature.

I first discovered this book when I was preparing for my Paris Month back in April. What a beautiful cover and the story is such a love story with not only the characters but with the City of Light. (Check out my review here!)

Synopsis from Goodreads:

In the City of Lights, two star-crossed lovers battle a fate that is destined to tear them apart again and again for eternity.

When Kate Mercier’s parents die in a tragic car accident, she leaves her life–and memories–behind to live with her grandparents in Paris. For Kate, the only way to survive her pain is escaping into the world of books and Parisian art. Until she meets Vincent.

Mysterious, charming, and devastatingly handsome, Vincent threatens to melt the ice around Kate’s guarded heart with just his smile. As she begins to fall in love with Vincent, Kate discovers that he’s a revenant–an undead being whose fate forces him to sacrifice himself over and over again to save the lives of others. Vincent and those like him are bound in a centuries-old war against a group of evil revenants who exist only to murder and betray. Kate soon realizes that if she follows her heart, she may never be safe again.

As a BONUS: I’m throwing in an ARC of the sequel, Until I Die!

  3. Favourite European city? That’s a hard one. I really REALLY love Paris. But I have to say out of all the European cities I’ve been too Munich was my favourite. Pretty much all of Germany really. It’s got that total European feel but the Black Forest is near by when you need a break of city landscapes. And the people are so friendly!
