Since last week‘s Stacking the Shelves had the epicness that was the meet-up, this week’s is considerably quieter in terms of book hauls. 🙂
This Past Week on Just a Lil’ Lost…
- Last week, in a collaborate Swoon-Worthy Sundays, we swooned over characters named “William”.
- My recap of last Saturday’s blogger meet-up (and the official Blog Ontario one with link-ups to all the other recaps from other bloggers!)
- Also my recap/review of a screening I went to for some short films that were featured at TIFF this year.
The Painted Girls by Cathy Marie Buchanan | ARC for read & review from publisher as part of blog tour. A beautiful book set in Paris (yay!) with the most lovely packaging when it was sent over to me. Plus a handwritten, personalized card from the author! Love.
Crash by Nicole Williams | eBook purchased from Kobo with Great Escape promo codes.. Went on a bit of a shopping spree with the ebooks this week. This looked interesting (and I <3 ballet)
The Twisted Tragedy of Natalie Stewart (Magic Most Foul, #2) by Leanna Renee Hieber | eBook purchased on Kobo with Great Escapes promo codes! I really liked the first one (Darker Still) and am super excited for this sequel.
Legacy series (Legacy, Allegiance & Sacrifice) by Cayla Kluver | eBook purchased from Kobo with promo codes. It was tough to find books that would take the promo codes, but in the end I’m actually really happy to finally get a chance to pick up the books that I did. Always been wanting to check this series out.
The Wake-Up Call by Jonas Eriksson | eBook surprise RAK gifted from Temara @ Sexy Book Nerds. Thank you Temara! I had initially seen this while browing on Amazon.. have to admit, the guy on the cover caught my eye 😉 Reminded me of the show Suits, and I was intrigued.
And I attended The Big Give cancer charity fundraiser on Wednesday with the largest, heaviest swag bag ever. It’s pretty ridiculous.
Thanks for stopping by! 😎
