This week’s Paris Month Swoon-Worthy Sundays is on all the lovely Parisian things that Chapters/Indigo has been carrying lately. On more than one occasion, I’ve had fellow bloggers tweet me about the “April in Paris” feature that this Canadian bookstore currently has which, while unrealistic, I have slight wishful thinking that it’s partially influenced by Paris Month 😉
I first spotted this decadent display at one of the local Chapters stores. All those Ladurée books, and cupcake & pastry holders.. and yes, that one present on in the display is, in fact, macaron wrapping paper. Love. Was so tempted to buy it but I knew that I’d never want to use it if I did! The notebook in the bottom right corner also look like macarons, even though it doesn’t say that’s what it is anywhere.
At another Chapters location, I spotted their April in Paris table that was previously in the back of the store and now moved to right at the entrance. So many reads!! I also discovered that The Elegance of the Hedgehog is set in Paris thanks to this table. I’ve always seen that book cover but never picked it up to see what it was about. Also definitely eyeing that Paris sketchbook! Love the style of drawings!
There are also so very many notecards, notebooks, etc. all with Eiffel Towers on them. I felt a bit like I did when I was in Paris, wanting to buy up everything in the souvenir shops. And of course when you’re actually there, all the souvenir shops have nothing BUT Eiffel Tower things.
If you’re in Canada, definitely be sure to check out the Chapters/Indigo April in Paris table! And if you can’t get to a store, they also have an online section dedicated to it as well! If you pick up something, be sure to share it with me on Twitter via #ParisMonth hashtag! Would love to see what Parisian goodies you pick up. 🙂
