It’s been a relatively quiet week on the blog.. I think all the traveling I’ve done the last few weeks has 1) amped up my speed getting through books and 2) put me in a big of a blogging lull. It’s definitely partially due to my right arm/shoulder, which still incredibly hurts, and doesn’t help with the constant use of a computer. So when I’ve sat at a desk all day for work, the last thing I want to do is sit at a computer, with arm pain, and blog. That being said, I’ve managed to finish 3 books over the last week and am taking this lovely weekend to catch up on all my post/review writing!
This Past Week on Just a Lil’ Lost…
- Reviewed My Friend, the Enemy by Dan Smith for Book Depository
- As promised from last week’s StS post, event recaps for both Random House/Doubleday’s book launch party for Crazy Rich Asians by Kevin Kwan and HCC Frenzy’s Fall Preview: The Future of YA!
Hereafter (Shadowlands, #2) by Kate Brian | For read & review from the publisher via Netgalley. I really enjoyed Shadowlands and was surprised to find out at the time that it was going to be a series. Not sure how that’ll work but I’m curious for this sequel!
Gloss by Marilyn Kaye | Purchased eBook on Kobo (for only $5+) after hearing about it during the Frenzy Presents fall preview!
Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children graphic novel sampler by Ransom Riggs | Jenn (Lost in a Great Book) picked up a signed copy of the sampler for me at BEA! Thanks Jenn!
Wild Awake by Hilary T. Smith | Gifted from Christa (More Than Just Magic) when she won a contest on Twitter and was given not just a copy for herself but several to share with others! Thanks Christa!!
Losing It by Cora Carmack | Signed copy, gifted as part of HCC Frenzy Presents Fall Preview!
Thanks for stopping by! 😎
