Early in November, on a brisk Saturday afternoon at the Bakka Phoenix book store in Toronto, Christa, Andrea & Sara’s brainchild project was being celebrated. Originally announced earlier in the year, the first issue of Inaccurate Realities was now finally out and a large group of family, friends and supporters were in attendance. There were refreshments downstairs which we all helped ourselves to while perusing the many books lining the floor-to-ceiling bookcases.
Once most people seem to have arrived, Christa spoke briefly and thanked everyone for coming and for all the support that they’ve received throughout this whole endeavor. She also introduced one of the authors who contributed to the first issue, Marilyn Anne Campbell, who penned the first short story in the volume. It was also great to see some Toronto authors there as well, like Megan Crewe & Leah Bobet, supporting the local projects!
A lovely afternoon with everyone to celebrate the inaugural issue!
Stay tuned this week for the cover reveal of Volume 2: Time Travel!
