What is Paris Month?
I started Paris Month in 2012 as a way to celebrate my first trip to the city that has been my obsession for years. What better way to commemorate that than to have a whole month-long blog event featuring stories & pictures of my travels, book reviews, interviews and guest posts all to do with the City of Light! I had so much fun with the first one that I decided to make it an annual event, with 2013 being a jam-packed month with even more Paris books featured.
Paris Month 2014
While I loved the original header, I wanted to change up the look a little bit. Keeping a similar colour scheme (and using my scribble-sketching skills for the Eiffel Tower), I designed a new artistic/scripty header for this year. This year’s Paris Month will also be a bit more scaled down than last year’s. I seem to have been overly ambitious in 2013 with how much I covered. Between a busy work schedule and planning for an upcoming wedding, I’ve had much less time in 2014 to do everything I wanted for this April. That being said, while there unfortunately won’t be any author interviews this year, there will be a lot of Paris book reviews and other fun features & giveaways throughout the month! (We even picked Edward Rutherfurd’s Paris as our Brunch Book Club pick this month!)
I look forward to seeing you throughout the month and I hope you enjoy this year’s literary journey to the beautiful city of Paris in April!
