About Me

I’m a 30-something city gal who loves my Starbucks Caramel Macchiatos every morning, spends my days working with make-up and enjoys my free time immersed in the book world.

Brunch may be my favourite meal of the day, and partially how my Eggs Benny Tour and the Brunch Book Club got started with Lost in a Great Book and I. I love all things Paris, having started this blog’s annual Paris Month in April and I’m also big on educating people about the difference between macarons and macaroons! 😉 Other things I’m a fan of: Lost, James Marsden, Benedict Cumberbatch, musical theatre and Kate Spade.

I read many genres of books but what you’ll mostly find on this blog are reviews of both Adult and YA fiction, some non-fiction, and graphic novels. I enjoy some paranormal-type books (especially ghost stories) and contemporary, historical fiction or funny memoirs.

The name “Just a Lil Lost” comes from my love of the TV show Lost. For fun, I had doodled a comic strip a long while ago and I liked the name of it, so I kept it for my own blog. This blog was created on July 18, 2009. As of July 1, 2011, I have registered the domain name JustALilLost.com.

I am also a contributor over at Paper Droids and Women Write About Comics, and part of Book Blog Ontario.
